The museum complex is formed by the priest house (dating from 1837), the Holy Union church (errected in 1890) and the school (built in 1905) where Vasila Lucaciu (1852-1922) taught. He was a greek-catholic priest, politician and an important militant for the independence of Transylvania from Austro-Hungary and for the union with Romania. In the house where Vasile Lucaciu and his family have lived there is an original collection of furniture, documents, photographs, personal belongings and much of the 1500 volume library.
